The Dr. Lewenberg Story
Adam Lewenberg, MD is a pioneer in the medical treatment of hair loss and a Life Member of the New York Academy of Sciences. He was one of the first physicians to treat patients with Minoxidil in private practice.
In the mid-1980s Dr. Lewenberg was working with plain Minoxidil but wanted something that worked better and would work all over the scalp. By 1986, he had discovered his hair loss solution, and today thousands of his patients have a full and healthy head of hair. Dr. Lewenberg's Formula is the only successful medical treatment to regrow normal hair.
A true American success story, Dr. Lewenberg's Formula is a small, family-owned business that has thrived despite competing against pharmaceutical giants like Rogaine® and Propecia®. The only explanation for that is simply "it works."
Keeping the company in the family, Dr. and Mrs. Lewenberg and their two children are the company's only officers. "Our mission has always been to help people," said company Vice President Ilana Lewenberg. "My brother and I were both involved in different endeavors, but came home to help ensure this company, our company fulfills that mission."
To that end, Dr. Lewenberg's formula has both men's and women's products and conducts extensive outreach to chemotherapy patients around the globe.
